"A Night of Eclectic Hip-Hop and Electronic Soul"

EDAN
http://www.humblemagnificent.com/index.html
Critically acclaimed Boston based rapper-producer-DJ-historian Edan made a dent on the underground hip-hop scene in 1999 with the twelve-inch Sing it Shitface, but it wasn't until his first release on Lewis Recordings that Edan garnered interest from both rock and hip-hop circles first in the UK then later, in his native US.

Primitive Plus introduced Edan's unique and irreverent take on hip-hop's past while his next album Beauty and the Beat saw him successfully incorporating elements of 60's psychedelia. Both albums were showered with praise, cementing Edan's reputation as one of the most daring and adventurous artists in modern day hip-hop.

FIREBERG (CD RELEASE)
www.firebergmusic.com
Fireberg is an eclectronic and hip-hop music producer and keyboardist based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Inspired by a wide range of musical genres, Fireberg combines breakbeats with R&B, moody harmonies with sharp analog synth lines, crackling vinyl spoken word with deep house drum loops. As a keyboardist since the age of five, his intuition for creating melody and tweaking a synthesizer can be disturbingly awesome.

Aphonic EP, Fireberg's debut release, takes the listener on a journey exploring a unique palette of musical colors, a pleasant alternative to the sea of monotonous electronica being released as of late. This is music made with intention, with underlying themes touching on concepts both abstract and spiritual in nature. The Aphonic EP has a soul-warming affect that leaves you excited about life, love, and the future of modern beats.

JOHN ROBINSON
http://www.thejohnrobinsonproject.com/
The fundamentals of foundational Hip-Hop pulsate vibrantly through the veins of the multi-dimensional artist, John Robinson. Born in the South Bronx and raised in Far Rockaway, Queens and Central NJ, this native New Yorker has sojourned and resided in the underground scenes of New York, New Jersey, Atlanta and Los Angeles with the result of creating a sound that is universally magnetic to hip-hop audiences of various backgrounds. Robinson AKA Lil Sci of the World Renowned UNDERGROUND Hip-Hop group Scienz of Life, rekindles his alter-ego to audio-biographically introduce his new chiseled personality that spits nothing less than lyrical perfection. Inspired by Hip-Hop legends such as KRS-1, Slick Rick, Brand Nubian and KMD to name a few, JR has been rocking mics since before he had peachfuzz. These same legends helped Robinson to mold himself to a scientific sort of political advisor that enjoys speaking to audiences both en masse and one person at a time. And having performed with the likes of The Roots, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Run DMC, MF DOOM and many others nationally and internationally (i.e. Italy, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Sweden, France, Japan, South Africa and more) John Robinson is a proven performance aficionado.

FLORDINGBLAST
www.flordingblast.com
Playing live drums, singing tripped out vocals, triggering r&b and electro-jazz off the laptop, and ripping insane keyboard riffs all in the same set -- Is there anything that Alex Goldberg from Flordingblast can't accomplish? The music is at once futuristic and reminiscent, sending you back to a soulful, surreal block party where Stevie Wonder and Chick Corea took turns tickling ivories as the Funky Meters played rhythm.

DJ BRUCE
http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/djbruce
Inspired by hometown heroes DJ Excel and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Bruce found his way to a pair of turntables his sophomore year of University in Philadelphia. Since, he has allowed his advanced-for-his-age musical taste set his path. Earning his stripes in a very short period of time, from his first nightclub residency in Philadelphia at the age of 19, to playing holding multiple residencies in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and playing on both coasts. He and his music have been able to move seamlessly between worlds often guarded by velvet ropes, to the sweaty dance floors of the underground.
