Fireberg presents the second single from his forthcoming Call of the Phoenix EP.
'Within Your Arms' uses strong, melodic bass alongside arcing vocoder harmonies held back in the mix to weave around brassy leads and dreamy keys. With the remix, Scott Diaz focuses on the groove, paring back parts while foregrounding the vocals and a new, stronger house feeling for the floor.
“Within Your Arms” provides a reflective electronic chillout vibe that's a uniquely nostalgic sound, connecting on a warm emotional level. This adept low slung, deep house track has two versions, the original from Fireberg and a remix delivered by global name Scott Diaz. The original upholds a mellow yet mystical ambience, giving a light, airy and raw funk feel.
Scott’s remix delivers an emphasized conga percussion, complete with Rhodes keys that are cohesively underpinned by a pulsing bassline. This mix brings the package into a decidedly deeper four-on-the-floor territory from its original counterpart. Both stand proudly apart, yet compliment each other as an accomplished package. Already finding favor with tastemakers across the world on limited edition promo, we expect this single to continue to roll well into next year.
